Alexander Semin freezes the Anaheim defense

The Anaheim Ducks gave Alexander Semin a lot of room to work with, and he took advantage of it.

Something to consider for the Anaheim Ducks (and the rest of the NHL, for that matter): Don't give Alexander Semin this much room to work with, because there is a good chance he is going to do something like this.

Wow.

Not only were there a lot of observers on that play wearing Ducks uniforms, but how about that perfect shot by Semin to pick the corner over Viktor Fasth. Ridiculous. As was the move to completely freeze Devante-Smith Pelley (No. 77).

The goal was Semin's fourth of the season for the Hurricanes and tied the game, 1-1, late in the second period.
