Canucks vs. Stars: Daniel Sedin penalized on iffy interference call

Torts was not pleased.

We really haven't had a major blowup from John Tortorella during his first season in Vancouver. It almost happened on Sunday when the Canucks were unfairly penalized midway through the second period.

Trailing 1-0, the Canucks crashed the Stars' net and Daniel Sedin appeared to tie the game with a goal. It was immediately waved off, and Sedin was sent to the penalty box for goalie interference.

Yeah, doesn’t look like interference at all. Which explains why Torts was so angry on the bench.
