Earlier on Monday we pointed out that, from time to time, the Carolina Hurricanes have some problems defensively.
Carolina has some problems on defense
Johnny Boychuk took advantage of some poor defense from Carolina to score his first goal of the season.

They had more than one break down against the Bruins.
After allowing defenseman Zdeno Chara to get a breakaway in the first period, they found themselves pretty much entirely out of position and allowed Johnny Boychuk to score his first goal of the season into an empty net. Defensemen were sliding into one another. Cam Ward was out the net and had his back turned to the play. Pretty much everything that could go wrong here for the Hurricanes went wrong.
