One of the few bright spots for the Ottawa Senators this season has been the play of the Clarke MacArthur-Kyle Turris-Bobby Ryan line. They've been one of the best units in the league and a constant threat every time they're on the ice, no matter the situation.
Clarke MacArthur sets up Kyle Turris with between-the-legs pass
This Clarke MacArthur to Kyle Turris play might be the pass of the year (so far) in the NHL this season.
They’ve done most of their damage at even-strength and on the power play, but in the first period of their game on Wednesday against Minnesota, MacArthur and Turris they were making plays shorthanded.
Here is MacArthur setting up Turris with a nifty between-the-legs pass for his sixth goal of the season. It might be one of the best passes you see this season.
After MacArthur seemingly fell out of favor in Toronto last season (he was a healthy scratch at times in the playoffs, despite playing well every time he was in the lineup) the Senators signed him to a two-year, $7 million contract this past summer.
It’s proving to be one of the best free agent signings any team made.
