The Boston Bruins looked like they were on their way to having Tuukka Rask steal one for them in regulation until Sidney Crosby somehow found a way to tie the game at 3-3 with less than a second to play in regulation. It was actually just three tenths of a second remaining.

James Neal had the puck along the boards, well out of a scoring position, and it appeared as if time was going to run out on him when he turned around and blindly fired a shot at the net. Lucky for the Penguins, Crosby was standing right on the doorstep to do this.
Unfortunately for the Penguins, they went on to lose in overtime on a blast by Torey Krug. They at least managed to get a point with the overtime loss. It's the first time the Penguins lost a regular season game in overtime since March 18, 2012.
It was an interesting night for Crosby with some flashes of brilliance (like this play) and some rough play in his own end of the ice. His last-second goal only offseat the Bruins’ shot he redirected into his own net earlier in the third period, and he had a brutal shift in overtime on Boston’s winner.
