Ottawa Senators goaltender Craig Anderson left Sunday's game against the Dallas Stars on a stretcher after taking an apparent blow to the head in overtime.
Craig Anderson injury: Senators goalie takes knee to head, leaves on stretcher
Craig Anderson left the game on a stretcher.

Stars rookie forward Valeri Nichushkin was driving the net when he fell to the ice and slid into Anderson. Nichushkin's knee made contact with Anderson's head, and the goalie stayed down on the ice after the impact.

It didn’t look that bad in real-time speed, but from this above-the-net camera angle you can see the contact with Anderson’s head. It seems as though the injury was to either his head or his neck. He left the ice on a stretcher but gave a thumbs up to the Canadian Tire Centre crowd as he was wheeled off, and reports indicate that he was not taken to the hospital and that he is mobile.
Robin Lehner came in to replace Anderson for the remainder of the game and the shootout. Dallas earned the victory, 4-3.
