With Henrik Zetterberg and Pavel Datsyuk out of the lineup, the Detroit Red Wings are having a hard enough time finding offense. The last thing they need is puck luck to be working against them.
Cory Schneider’s jersey saves a goal
This isn’t the type of bounce the Red Wings need with two of their best players out of the lineup.

That's what happened on Friday night when Justin Abdelkader fired a shot at Devils goalie Cory Schneider, only to have the puck get stuck in Schneider's jersey on its way into the net and fall harmlessly to the ice just in front of the goal line.
There’s not much you can do about that. Sometimes the puck bounces your way ... and sometimes it doesn’t.
