The arena that the Kontinental Hockey League’s Traktor Chelyabinsk plays in, Traktor Sport Palace, has suffered residual damage from the meteor shower that shattered above the Chelyabinsk region on Friday morning.

According to a press release on the KHL’s official website, the walls of the arena have suffered structural damage, which will force all large-scale events previously scheduled to be post-poned until a later date.

As of Friday, this will not affect the conclusion of Chelyabinsk’s schedule as the club will finish out the regular season on Sunday against Metallurg Magnitogorsk. However, it could alter the team’s ability to host games in the first round of the playoffs.

The team is guaranteed a top-four finish in the league’s Eastern Conference and would have opened the playoffs with home games on Feb. 21 and 22. Structural experts will be assessing the damage to the arena and are expected to announce the results of their analysis on Monday.
