The Philadelphia Flyers visit the New York Islanders on Monday afternoon still searching for consistency this season, while the home team is riding high after big wins over local rivals.
Islanders vs. Flyers preview: Philadelphia still searching for answers
The Flyers and Islanders look to be two teams headed in opposite directions.

The Flyers have now dropped two straight games, including a 4-1 loss to the Montreal Canadiens on Saturday. The Flyers have struggled with goal scoring for much of the season and have not scored more than three goals in regulation since a 5-3 win over the Carolina Hurricanes on Feb. 2. The penalty kill has surged, however, and is now 33-of-35 in the past nine games combined.
The Islanders have seemingly recovered from a five-game losing streak start off the month, with a shootout win over the New York Rangers followed by a rousing 5-1 victory over the New Jersey Devils at home on Saturday. The Islanders have struggled with keeping the puck out of the net this season but have attempted to overcome with a top-ten scoring offense that is clipping at 3.36 goals per game and is No. 4 in the NHL on the power play at 27.6 percent.
Puck is dropping at 1 p.m. ET with coverage on CSN and MSG+.
