Update: It was brought up in the comments section that Google Translate might have inaccurately translated what Hossa’s father said. The actual meaning of the quote might have conveyed that Marian did not sustain a concussion. Any help from a native Slovak speaker would be appreciated.
Marian Hossa injury: Did the Blackhawks forward sustain a concussion?
Did Marian Hossa suffer a concussion on Tuesday night when Jannik Hansen made contact with his head?

Chicago Blackhawks forward Marian Hossa sustained a concussion on Tuesday night when he was hit in the head by Vancouver Canucks forward Jannik Hansen, according to comment from his father Frantisek Hossa in a Slovak-language report published on Sport.sme.sk on Thursday.
Courtesy of Google Translate, Hossa’s father states that he spoke with Marian via phone call after the game. According to Frantisek, Marian was feeling well but had sustained a concussion. It’s unclear whether this was diagnosed by the medical staff or labeled by Hossa himself.
In either case, Frantisek stated that Marian will undergo examination on Thursday and his status for the team's game against the San Jose Sharks on Friday will be determined based upon the exam.
If Hossa has sustained a concussion, this will be the second such instance in less than a calendar year.
Hansen was suspended one game by the NHL Department of Player Safety for his “carelessness” during the play.
