The Philadelphia Flyers have acquired forward Simon Gagné from the Los Angeles Kings, according to a post on the team's official Twitter account.

The Philadelphia Flyers have acquired forward Simon Gagné from the Los Angeles Kings.

In exchange for Gagné, the Kings acquired a conditional fourth-round draft pick, which the Flyers had previously acquired from the Phoenix Coyotes. As of Tuesday afternoon, the club has yet to distinguish what the conditions of the pick are.

This will mark Gagné‘s second stint with the Flyers.
Originally chosen by the club with the No. 22 overall selection in 1998 NHL Draft, Gagné spent 10 seasons with the Flyers and is a fan favorite. After scoring several key goals in the team's run to the Stanley Cup Finals in the 2009-10 season, the Flyers traded Gagné to the Tampa Bay Lightning for defenseman Matt Walker and a fourth-round selection in the 2011 draft.
After one season in Tampa Bay, Gagné signed as a free agent with the Los Angeles Kings in July 2011.
Gagné is in the final season of a two-year contract, which carries an annual average value of $3.5 million.
