The NHL once again has a busy Sunday on tap in this compressed 48-game season, starting off with theWashington Capitals hosting the New York Rangers on NBC. Martin Biron will get the start in goal for the Rangers, who dropped their first game after four straight wins on Friday against Ottawa.

Sunday could be a day for redemption in the NHL, as several teams and players across ten games are looking to rebound from disappointment.

Jacob Markstrom is set to make his fourth-straight start for the Panthers, with the highly-touted rookie 1-3-1 in his young NHL career and just three days removed from being pulled three minutes into Wednesday’s game against the Capitals.
The Chicago Blackhawks will come out fired up after dropping their first regulation loss of the season on Friday, with the Edmonton Oilers the unfortunate visitors to the United Center on Sunday.
