The Kings outscored Calgary 12-3 in three games, completely dominating the Flames. They got another good performance from Jonathan Quick and just out-grinded Calgary all game long. A typical Kings win.
2. Will Trevor Lewis score the game-winning goal?
Well, he tried. He had three shots on net but didn't even register a single point. Instead, Dustin Brown and Jarret Stoll netted the Kings' three goals on Monday.
3. Is Mike Richards dealing with any injury issues?
He passed the eyeball test. He didn’t look like he was laboring at all, even though he only registered one shot on net. But this is a hockey player we’re talking about. He could be playing through something right now and it would be hard to tell based on one game.
4. Will the Boston Bruins-Ottawa Senators game be a defensive struggle?
It didn't start out as one, but it definitely ended that way. Guillaume Latendresse's goal just 55 seconds in sparked a four-goal first half of the game, but the two teams settled down in the second period. Aside from Latendresse's and Daniel Paille's goals, the two teams didn't have many end-to-end rushes. Instead both were forced to play with patience and wait for the other team to make a mistake. Neither did, and it ended in a shootout.
5. How will Guillaume Latendresse fare in his return to the lineup?
Pretty well.
