Montreal Canadiens prospect Blake Geoffrion is only considering retiring from professional hockey, his father Danny Geoffrion told John Glennon of the Tennessean on Wednesday. Blake Geoffrion retirement report may have been premature
It appears as though Blake Geoffrion hasn’t officially retired yet, at least, according to his father Danny.
Danny Geoffrion stated that Blake has not been able to skate much since sustaining a skull fracture during an American Hockey League game in November of 2012. Geoffrion’s father made it clear that Blake may retire, but no decision has been made.
His understanding is that Blake is going to evaluate things over the coming weeks and will then officially decide what he wants to do with his career.
