Leafs vs. Jets: Antti Miettinen whacks puck out of midair, scores on Ben Scrivens
The play was reviewed but the call stood.

The Leafs have unraveled once again, and it was Antti Miettinen who got the bonfire started by showing off his baseball skills in the second period.
Dustin Byfuglien fired the puck in from the point and Ben Scrivens barely managed to get a piece of his glove on the laser shot. The puck then fluttered up in the air and Miettinen whacked it into the net. The play was reviewed but replays showed that Miettien used impressive patience in waiting for the puck to fall to a point where he could get his stick under the crossbar on the shot.
The officials got the call right and the goal stood. Since then, the two goalies have decided to stop playing and it’s 4-3 after two periods in Toronto.
