Buffalo Sabres fan’s fire sale video achieves perfection

The Buffalo Sabres are in free fall. The trade deadline is just two weeks away. Every reporter and their mother is reporting that the Sabres are ready to trade just about everyone on their roster.

So, naturally, a Sabres fan made a YouTube commercial for the impending fire sale announcing a “Once in a lifetime liquidation event” where “everything MUST GO!”

And it’s pure greatness.

You’ve all seen commercials like this. Every element is there. The gutteral, deep voice. The swirling WordArt and obvious powerpoint slides. The abundance of exclamation points.

My personal favorite: “Buy one underachiever, get one FREE!”

Well done, jenrossi1991. Well done indeed. Also, someone should get that voice guy some water or something.
