NHL schedule and starting goalies: Blue Jackets creeping into playoff picture

There are four games in the NHL on Friday night. Here’s the complete schedule and starting goaltender match-ups.

There are four games scheduled in the NHL on Friday night, with two games in the Eastern Conference and two games in the West.

The slate of games will kick off with an Atlantic Division meeting between the Pittsburgh Penguins and New York Islanders. The other Eastern Conference game will also feature a division match-up as the Winnipeg Jets host the Washington Capitals in the tail-end of a back-to-back.

In the West, the Blue Jackets will look to tie the San Jose Sharks in total points with a win over the Calgary Flames, while the Anaheim Ducks will host the Detroit Red Wings.
