The lone Eastern Conference contest will feature a Northeast Division battle between the Boston Bruins and Montreal Canadiens. The two teams enter the night tied atop the division with 45 points and the winner will take over sole possession of the top spot. Boston currently holds the position after Montreal lost to the Pittsburgh Penguins on Tuesday night.
In the West, the Minnesota Wild will host the Phoenix Coyotes, the Colorado Avalanche will challenge the Calgary Flames and the Anaheim Ducks will conclude a home-and-home with the San Jose Sharks.
