Remember that time Matt Cooke's skate sliced Erik Karlsson's achilles tendon? Well, Eugene Melnyk seems to be losing some serious sleep over it.
Eugene Melnyk compiling forensic evidence of intent on Karlsson injury
The Senators owner is convinced Matt Cooke purposely injured Karlsson.

The Ottawa Senators owner told Toronto radio station The Fan 590 on Wednesday that he's collecting forensic evidence from doctors that he hopes will prove Cooke intentionally stepped on Karlsson's tendon. He plans to bring the evidence to Gary Bettman and Brendan Shanahan in order to incur some sort of punishment for Cooke.
“Look, they’re fair, they’re very fair when it comes to that,” he continued. “They will listen to you, but, you know, you have to come back with professional evidence by doctors, forensic doctors that can do it, and it’s actually being done right in Toronto.”
Of course, the phrase “forensic evidence” was something Twitter couldn’t handle. And so #CSIOttawa was born.
