Bruins vs. Canadiens: Tuukka Rask breaks stick, falls down

That about sums up his night.

USA TODAY Sports

The Canadiens survived a thrilling 6-5 contest against the Boston Bruins tonight, in one of the most exciting games of the season so far. And Bruins goaltender Tuukka Rask was not happy about it. At all.

You can't really blame him. Rask had a fairly terrible game, giving up five goals on 28 shots, including the game-tying goal to Andrei Markov (with Brendan Gallagher all up in his crease) with 8.2 seconds left in the game. He hung on as long as he could in the super-long shootout, but Gallagher beat him yet again for the game-winner. Let that sink in: a terrible night ends with two goals involving a rookie that's about as tall as a garden gnome.

So his reaction afterwards was justified. But the follow-through just wasn’t quite there.
