MADNESS!
Coyotes vs. Predators: 7 goals in the first 10 minutes!
There will probably be a few more goals scored by the time I’m done writing this article.

At 1:46 of the first period, Martin Hanzal scored an unassisted goal for the Phoenix Coyotes, beating Pekka Rinne.
At 3:42 of the first period, Radim Vrbata scored for the Coyotes.
At 3:50, David Moss scored for the Coyotes.
At this point Rinne was pulled, and Chris Mason came in for Nashville. It did not help.
At 7:08, Matt Lombardi scored for the Coyotes.
At 8:26, Keith Yandle scored for the Coyotes.
The Coyotes led the game 5-0 at this point.
At 9:03, Nashville finally got on the board. David Legwand beat Jason LaBarbera.
And finally, at 9:33, Nashville scored again. Rich Clune got the goal.
That's five goals in 8:26 for the Coyotes, followed by two goals in thirty seconds for the Predators.
And that’s just the first half of the first period.
Sadly, it looks like the Coyotes weren’t even CLOSE to beating their franchise record for fastest five goals:
#Coyotes 3:26 over matching team record for fastest five goals. That record (five minutes even) was set Oct.30, 1988, vs LA.

At the time this article was being written, Rinne had been pulled after making one save on three shots. Mason was in net, and had made one save on four shots. If you have either of these men on your fantasy hockey team, YOU ARE DOOMED.
