The Chicago Blackhawks will look to record their 29th consecutive game with a point on Tuesday night.

It will mark the second of three meetings between the teams this season.
During their first contest on Jan. 30, the Wild accomplished something few teams have this season -- they managed to record a win against the Blackhawks. On Tuesday night, Minnesota will look to replicate that feat during regulation to end Chicago’s 22-game point streak.
The Blackhawks, however, will look to continue their streak in an attempt to break history. While the club has already set the record for most consecutive games to start a season with a point, the Blackhawks are inching closer to the all-time record for most games without a regulation loss.
Originally set by the 1979-80 Philadelphia Flyers, the record currently stands at 35 games. Dating back to last season, the Blackhawks have gone 28 games without a regulation loss. If Minnesota has it their way, the streak will remain at that figure.
The Wild has won three of its last four games and have outscored opponents, 12-9, over that span. However, the team has struggled on the road this season, compiling a record of 3-6-1 away from Xcel Energy Center. Chicago will look to improve upon their 9-0-1 mark at United Center.
Tuesday’s game is scheduled to begin at 8:30 p.m., ET and will be televised on FS-N, FS-WI, CSN-CH.
