1. Will the New Jersey Devils end their seven-game winless streak?
NHL schedule: Five questions for Wednesday
A daily feature which asks the five hardest-hitting questions imaginable about this day in the NHL. Will our quandaries be answered? (That doesn’t count as one of the five questions.)

After starting off the season well, the Devils have drastically declined. Injuries to Martin Brodeur and Ilya Kovalchuk likely had a major factor in this. Regardless, New Jersey has gone seven-straight without a win. Can they end the skid against the Boston Bruins?
2. Will the Anaheim Ducks qualify for the playoffs?
They can with a win or overtime loss against the Colorado Avalanche. Anaheim would be the third team to qualify for the postseason, as the Chicago Blackhawks and Pittsburgh Penguins already have.
3. Will the Toronto Maple Leafs sweep their home-and-home series with the New York Rangers?
Toronto took the first game of the mini-series on Monday night, 4-3. The two teams will meet in New York on Wednesday. With both clubs pushing for the playoffs, two points could go a long way.
4. Will the Bruins take over as the Northeast Division leader?
The Northeast is arguably the most competitive division in the NHL this season, and the Bruins have an opportunity to take over the top spot from the Montreal Canadiens with a win.
5. Will the Vancouver Canucks extend their three-game winning streak?
Vancouver enters competition on Wednesday night with an 8-2-0 record in their last 10. Calgary is 3-7-0 over that span and lost to the Canucks on Saturday night, 5-2.
