The 2013 Frozen Four will kick off on Thursday afternoon with a back-to-back slate of games to determine who will meet in the National Championship. The tournament is being held at Consol Energy Center in Pittsburgh, Pa., home of the NHL’s Penguins.

The Yale Bulldogs will challenge the UMass-Lowell River Hawks in the opening game at 4:30 p.m. ET on Thursday afternoon. Neither of these teams have previously appeared in a National Championship game, with Yale being the only one of the two who has made an appearance in the Frozen Four.

The game will be televised on ESPN2 and will be streamed live on WatchESPN.com.

The second game will pit the Quinnipiac Bobcats against the St. Cloud State Huskies. The game is scheduled to begin at 8 p.m. ET and will be televised live on ESPN2. The game will not be streamed on WatchESPN.com.

Thursday’s winners will meet in the 2013 National Championship, which is scheduled to take place at 7 p.m. ET on Saturday night.
