If you run across a new hockey fan wondering what the Nashville Predators offense is like, just show them this video of Sergei Kostitsyn.

Kostitsyn has already been guilty of blatant poor effort earlier this season, but I'd argue this is just as egregious. There are no other Predators within 20 feet of him. Brenden Dillon was even playing the pass! There are literally no options available other than SHOOT THE DAMN PUCK.

So of course, he tries to pass. Sigh. I’m a Stars fan and even I’m frustrated.
