The NHL has rescheduled Monday night's postponed game between the Boston Bruins and Ottawa Senators for Sunday, April 28 at 7 p.m., ET, the league announced Tuesday afternoon.
Bruins vs. Senators game rescheduled for April 28 in Boston
The NHL has rescheduled Monday’s game between the Boston Bruins and Ottawa Senators.

Monday’s game was postponed due to the tragic events at the Boston Marathon when a bomb exploded at the race’s finish line. Broadcast details have not been made available but will be provided at a later date. The game will still take place at Boston’s TD Garden.
Some had called for the game to be canceled. The NBA opted to take that course of action as the Boston Celtics’ game against the Indiana Pacers for Tuesday night was canceled. Of course, the circumstances are somewhat different given that the Celtics and Pacers are both locked firmly into playoff positions and the game was the Celtics’ final home game of the season.
The Bruins and Senators are still vying for playoff positioning and the game could be a deciding factor in the Eastern Conference’s final seedings.
This is the second time this season that a Bruins home game has required rescheduling, as a contest in February against the Tampa Bay Lightning was postponed due to a snow storm.
Boston will return to action on Wednesday night when the Bruins host the Buffalo Sabres.
