3. Will the Edmonton Oilers end their six-game losing streak?
Times have been tough in Edmonton. On Friday, they will have a chance to snap their extended slide against the last-place Colorado Avalanche.
4. Will the Dallas Stars take over the eighth seed in the Western Conference?
The Stars will do so with a victory against the St. Louis Blues on Friday night. They hold the tie-breaker with the Columbus Blue Jackets who currently hold the position.
5. Will the Anaheim Ducks sweep their season series with the Calgary Flames?
Calgary has lost both contests this season against the Ducks? Anaheim will look to improve their five-point lead over the Vancouver Canucks for the second seed in the West.
