Patrice Bergeron injury: Bruins center leaves game after taking elbow to head

A bit of accidental contact sent Bergeron to the dressing room.

Midway through the game between the Ottawa Senators and the Boston Bruins, Boston center Patrice Bergeron took an accidental elbow to head from Ottawa's Colin Greening:

Completely unintended contact from Greening’s arm here, but it was still enough to send Bergeron to the dressing room. He has yet to return to the game, and the Bruins haven’t commented on his injury.

As many noted after the play, any contact involving Bergeron’s head is cause for concern, given his history:

Bergeron is Boston’s leading scorer, with 10 goals and 21 assists through 31 games.
