Blues vs. Blackhawks: Alexander Steen takes puck to the face

The damage could’ve been worse if Steen hadn’t been wearing a visor.

Alexander Steen should be thanking his lucky stars he was wearing a visor after a scary incident on Saturday.

Steen was in the wrong place at the wrong time when Johnny Oduya unleashed a slap shot from the point.

It looked like David Backes' stick deflected the puck at an unfortunate angle, but it luckily careened right off of Steen's visor. Instead of receiving a few broken bones, Steen just got his bell rung.
