Vancouver Canucks forward Ryan Kesler will return to the lineup against the Phoenix Coyotes on Monday night, according to head coach Alain Vigneault.

Kesler has missed 19 games due to a broken bone in his foot. The injury was originally sustained while blocking a shot against the Dallas Stars on Feb. 15. Coincidentally, the game was Kesler's first of the 2013 season as he had missed the start of the year while recovering from offseason shoulder and wrist surgeries.

Despite being injured in his first game back, Kesler managed to play in seven games and recorded five points (goal and four assists).

During practice on Monday, Kesler was skating with Mason Raymond and Zack Kassian. Vigneault stated that he didn't know what to expect and that he doesn't plan to use him on special teams. Kesler stated that his foot feels fine and that he will get himself back into game shape by playing in games.
