Sidney Crosby injury: Penguins captain speaks to media
Sidney Crosby spoke to the media on Monday for the first time since breaking his jaw.

Despite the injury, Crosby didn’t appear too worse for wear and spoke fairly normally considering he broke a part of his face. He stated that he lost some teeth but couldn’t give an exact number, estimating that he lost at least three or four on the bottom of his jaw and potentially some on the top as he spoke about receiving new tops.
One of the most important components to his return this season was his ability to remain focused on his diet. Crosby stated that it has been an issue as he is unable to eat solid foods, instead having to consume shakes. This has made it difficult for him to keep on weight.
However, he stated that he doesn’t think it will be difficult to put the weight back on once he is able to eat solid foods again.
