Rangers vs. Maple Leafs: Anton Stralman’s dive of the year candidate

Bad job, bad effort!

Debby Wong-USA TODAY Sports

You probably don't think of Anton Stralman as a notorious diver, and that's because he's not. He made that quite evident on Monday.

See, professional divers (See: Dustin Brown, or the entire Bruins roster) are sneaky. They know how to sell a call and make it look somewhat borderline.

Anton Stralman is not a professional diver.

I mean, James van Riemsyk barely touched him. Actually, are we even sure he touched him at all? A lot of times you’ll see a diver completely sprawl out like Bobby Orr to sell a call. Stralman lowers himself in a very deliberate manner. It’s like he didn’t even try.

Shame on you, Stralman. I award you no points.
