Faulk was removed from injured reserve, according to the team on Tuesday afternoon. The 21-year-old defenseman was forced to miss nine games due to an MCL sprain, which was sustained against the Florida Panthers on March 19.
Faulk leads the Hurricanes in average ice-time, collecting 23:23 in 28 games this season, which includes an average of 2:44 on the power play and 2:58 on the penalty kill (most on the team). He has also contributed three goals and seven assists for 10 points this season.
Semin is also expected to return after missing two games due to an undisclosed upper-body injury. Head coach Kirk Muller stated that he is under the impression that Semin will be available. The 29-year-old forward has registered 10 goals and 26 assists for 36 points in 36 games this season.
