Former captain of the Dallas Stars, Brenden Morrow, scored his first goal for his new team on Tuesday night:

Morrow scored late in the first period for the Pittsburgh Penguins in their game against the Carolina Hurricanes. His goal gave the Penguins a 2-1 lead, and was assisted by Pascal Dupuis and former-Hurricane Jussi Jokinen. The Hurricanes tied the game at two before the end of the opening frame.

Morrow had six goals and five assists for the Stars this season before being traded along with a fifth-round pick to the Penguins in exchange for defenseman Joe Morrow and and a third-round pick. Prior to this goal he had been limited to a single assist in his first six games for Pittsburgh.
