Jonathan Quick is keeping a depleted Sharks team at bay.

San Jose withstood a myriad of injuries in the second, as the Sharks and Kings head into the third period tied at 1-1.

The Sharks quickly went down a man when Scott Hannan left for the dressing room with an undisclosed injury. Just a few moments later, Martin Havlat left as well. And then Jeff Carter laid this hit on Logan Couture that temporarily knocked him out of the game.

Through all of that, San Jose was able to apply pressure on Jonathan Quick and the Kings. The Sharks outshot Los Angeles 14-7 in the second and killed off two roughing minors as well. Quick has been outstanding thus far, stopping 27 of 28 shots. His stop on Andrew Desjardins in tight was his best of the second period.
