The Blackhawks were just able to sneak by with an overtime win over the Minnesota Wild in Game 1 of their Western Conference Quarterfinal series. They won’t be able to add two key pieces to the lineup for Game 2, either.
Ray Emery, Dave Bolland ruled out for Game 2
Dave Bolland is supposedly close, and Emery skated today.

Chicago head coach Joel Quenneville announced today that forward Dave Bolland and goaltender Ray Emery -- who sat out Game 1 -- will also be unavailable for Game 2.
Coach Q: Both Emery and Bolland ruled out for Game 2. Emery skated before practice, Bolly is "close." #Blackhawks

Bolland missed the last three games of the regular season with a groin injury. He did not skate today, as Emery did. Emery has been out since Apr. 24, when he suffered a lower-body injury during the first period of a game against the Edmonton Oilers. Quenneville was “non-committal but more optimistic” about the two players joining the Hawks on the road for Games 3 and 4 in St. Paul.
