Sunday's NHL playoff action started with game two between the Boston Bruins and New York Rangers, which turned into a bit of a rout for the Bruins as New York's struggles continued. Later on in the evening the Penguins and Senators played in Ottawa, and a game that looked for most of the night like it would end in a 1-0 victory for Pittsburgh turned into an overtime thrill-ride that resulted in a 2-1 win for the Senators.

The Bruins blitzed the Rangers to take a 2-0 lead in their series, and the Senators came from behind to win a double-overtime thriller against the Penguins.

First, in Boston, Ryan Callahan erased the Bruins' first lead after he poked the puck free from Brad Marchand, then reminded Dougie Hamilton you kind of have to skate to win in this game.
Torey Krug continued to shine in just his second playoff game. He took this pass through the legs, then calmly sent it through the legs of Dan Girardi and Henrik Lundqvist. That's six legs, if you're counting.
Krug did it again before setting up this goal by Gregory Campbell.
The Bruins coughed up two leads but finally made one stick after Johnny Boychuk scored through a screen.
Milan Lucic eventually scored an insurance goal to secure the 5-2 final, but his best highlight was a big hit on John Moore.
The Bruins' fourth goal looked like a carbon copy of the Game 1 overtime winner where Patrice Bergeron fed Brad Marchand.
Though Lundqvist was victimized for five goals for the first time in two years, his day wasn't without a few sweet saves. This one required extra rebound awareness after he robbed Jaromir Jagr at the back door.
In Ottawa, a scoreless first period ended with Evgeni Malkin hanging out in the Senators' goal and giving dirty looks to the viewers at home.
Each team took a number of penalties in the second, including this holding penalty for Douglas Murray / diving penalty for Erik Karlsson:
The first goal of the game came in the final minutes of the middle period, when the Senators collapsed down WAY too low and Tyler Kennedy practically walked the puck into the net:
Chris Neil somehow failed to score the tying goal on this opportunity:
Daniel Alfredsson showed why he is beloved in Ottawa with this incredible shorthanded deflection to tie the game with 28 seconds remaining:
Malkin couldn’t convert on his remarkable moves early in overtime:
Chris Neil’s bad night continued as he fell hard and left the game with an injury:
But he probably feels a bit better since Colin Greening won the game for the Senators in double overtime, just a few minutes later:
