Senators vs. Canadiens Game 4 update: Habs score two in one minute

P.K. Subban and Alex Galchenyuk gave Montreal a 2-0 lead in the second period.

Told you they’d start scoring eventually. Montreal got two huge goals from their star defenseman and their big rookie to take a 2-0 lead into the third period.

Less than three minutes into the frame, the Canadiens transitioned up the ice after a lengthy Ottawa attack in their zone. Tomas Plekanec took advantage of a pinching defenseman, chipping the puck past him to break into the Sens' zone. He immediately found P.K. Subban (who was doing everything short of jumping up and down and yelling for the puck) at the other side of the ice, and the Norris Trophy finalist fired the puck into the top corner to get the Habs on the board.

But they weren't done. Alex Galchenyuk turned what was already a strong start to the game into a goal less than a minute later when he got the puck past Craig Anderson. The Habs are looking dangerous and will look to defend their lead in the third.
