Vancouver is hanging around in Game 4, but boy are the Canucks making it hard on themselves.
Canucks vs. Sharks Game 4 update: Vancouver playing with penalty fire
Vancouver’s parade to the sin bin continued in the second period.

Midway through the period, Dan Hamhuis caught Tommy Wingels in the mouth with a high stick. Wingels started bleeding, and Hamhuis went to the penalty box for four minutes. The Sharks would've scored if not for some outstanding stops by Cory Schneider, and the Canucks survived the lengthy penalty kill. Later Alexander Edler took a slashing penalty. The next penalty the Canucks take will be their 26th penalty in the series. Not exactly a formula for success.
They seem to have part of the formula figured out, however. Cory Schneider has been great, stopping 27 of 29 shots against. They’ll need some offensive help if they want to survive this series.
