What a crazy night of hockey. Tuesday featured a leaky goalie in Pittsburgh, a wild comeback in Ottawa and an overtime thriller in San Jose. And something happened in Minnesota, but it was far less interesting.

If the first goal on Marc-Andre Fleury wasn't a bad omen...
...surely the second one was.

It was a rough night for Fleury, who gave up six goals and looked bad on several of them. But the winner by John Tavares was not his fault:
At the other end, the Penguins exploited Evgeni Nabokov and Matt Carkner. Here's Matt Cooke destroying Carkner before setting up a goal:
And Sidney Crosby, who has had two facial injuries from pucks at Nassau Coliseum, very nearly had another one:
Crosby was pained, but didn’t miss a shift, of course.
Meanwhile, some fool tossed a bottle on to the Nassau Coliseum ice near Evgeni Nabokov, and was promptly tossed from the building:
In Minnesota, the Wild needed a win to tie the series so they tried to play physical at first. Here's Cal Clutterbuck on Brent Seabrook:
But then they had to deal with their second goalie injury of the series. Josh Harding left the game after this crash from Jonathan Toews:
...and his replacement did not start well. Darcy Kuemper's first NHL playoff shot was memorable for the wrong reasons:
Kuemper settled down after that, but the Wild could not score. Corey Crawford shut them out without having to do much work, and the Hawks now lead the series 3-1.
In Ottawa, Paul MacLean clones were running amok.
And the Senators were playing with the wrong sticks.
The Canadiens took a 2-0 lead in the second period, but saw it evaporate in the third. Mika Zibanejad started the comeback with a slightly controversial goal...
...and Cory Conacher sent the game to overtime with 23 seconds left.
Carey Price then went and injured himself, so his backup could take the blame for losing the game in overtime.
I feel ya, Marc Bergevin.
We finished the night in San Jose, where the Sharks were looking to sweep the Canucks in the first round. Derek Roy proved he was a true Canucklehead with this suspendable hit on Brad Stuart.
Roy and Stuart both stayed in the game, amazingly.
The Canucks and Sharks traded the lead back and forth all game, but Daniel Sedin had a wonderful opportunity to tie the game before Lady Luck betrayed him.
But that was alright, because the Canucks roared back anyways to take the lead in the third period. At least until Joe Pavelski tied things up on the power play, sending the game to overtime.
Things were going just fine for the Canucks in the extra frame when Daniel Sedin was charged with a questionable boarding penalty on Tommy Wingels. In reality, it was probably just a hockey play.
The call ended up costing Vancouver their season. Patrick Marleau cashed in on the power play and the Sharks completed the sweep to advance to the second round.
PARTY TIME.
