Well, the Canucks season couldn't have ended any worse than that. A questionable penalty call in overtime on Daniel Sedin resulted in Patrick Marleau's game-winner and a series sweep for San Jose.

Patrick Marleau ended the Canucks’ season with an overtime goal.

The way the extra frame was playing out, this game very well could have gone to double-overtime. Instead, Daniel Sedin was called for boarding when he shouldered Tommy Wingels into the boards awkwardly while trying to battle for the puck.
At any rate, that gave the Sharks a grand opportunity to win the game. And they did just that.
Just like that, the Sharks bec-oh, sorry. I didn’t mean to interrupt the celebration.
Anyways, the Sharks swept the Canucks and became the first team to advance to the conference semifinals.
Now celebrate your little hearts out.
Can Roberto Luongo play as well as he did as a backup in Game 3?
He got to watch the game from the bench. Cory Schneider started Game 4 and played spectacularly overall. He faced 47 shots and stopped all but four of them. Unfortunately the final goal was entirely his fault.
Will Logan Couture and Joe Pavelski keep leading the Sharks offensively?
Pavelski and Couture played just as effectively as they have all series. Pavelski scored twice and Couture notched two assists. But it was oft-maligned Patrick Marleau that sent San Jose to the next round.
Is Antii Niemi going to keep playing this well?
He wasn’t perfect, but he came up huge when his team needed it. Niemi gave up three goals on 35 shots.
