Admit it, you’ve been (figuratively) watching paint dry since July. Well, get out to Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia on Monday morning and put those skills to good use.
Fortunately, the Philadelphia Flyers are hoping to give some mainstream credibility to this alternative event in the most grandiose way possible: setting one of the lamest world records, ever. On Monday morning, the Flyers are hoping to set the Guinness World Record for the most people to simultaneously watch paint dry.
People will be invited into Wells Fargo Center at 11 a.m. to watch the underappreciated maintenance crew paint the lines that will allow the Flyers to play hockey this season. Here are the details, via the Flyers:
