Tomas Vokoun injury: Agent denies accuracy of report

Allan Walsh, the agent for Tomas Vokoun, denied the accuracy of quotes attributed to his client featured in a Czech language report.

The agent of Pittsburgh Penguins goaltender Tomas Vokoun is denying the accuracy of the quotes attributed to Vokoun in a Czech language report, which stated that Vokoun was questioning ending his career.

The outlet iDNES.cz ran a report on Thursday that quoted Vokoun as saying that he nearly died after blood clots formed in his leg and that he was contemplating ending his career. The report was translated by TV NOVA Sport correspondent, Roman Jedlicka, and subsequently translated for SB Nation by a Czech language speaker.

Vokoun’s agent, Allan Walsh, stated on twitter that the quotes attributed to Vokoun are inaccurate:
