Alex Ovechkin loses stick, then scores anyway

You’re going to have to try harder than this to stop Alex Ovechkin from scoring.

Alex Ovechkin added to his league-leading goal total in Washington's 4-3 loss to Pittsburgh on Wednesday night, and he had to overcome a couple of obstacles before he could put in goal No. 34.

That's Penguins defenseman Brooks Orpik knocking Ovechkin's stick out of hand (which is normally a penalty), and then Ovechkin reaching down, picking it up just in time to receive a pass from the goal line, and then one-timing a shot past Marc-Andre Fleury.

It’s not quite the goal he scored on Tuesday, but it’s still pretty awesome.
