Robert Mayer-USA TODAY SportsAfter stopping the initial shot, the puck was starting to roll across the goal line when Gustavsson, while falling backwards and trying to recover after the initial save, had to make a kick save to keep the puck out of the net. It was a tremendous display of athleticism and helped the Red Wings earn an additional point in the standings.
And yes, if the puck would have rolled across the line there it would have counted and the Blackhawks would have won.
