John Gibson injury forces retired Dwayne Roloson to suit up for Ducks
He’s a pretty good emergency backup option.

Now, thanks to a strange set of circumstances, Roloson is officially the Ducks’ backup goaltender on Sunday.
Anaheim rookie John Gibson was supposed to get the start against the Colorado Avalanche but suffered an injury during warmups and couldn't play. With Frederik Andersen unavailable, veteran backup netminder Jason Labarbera got the start. That meant the Ducks needed an emergency backup just in case.
So Roloson suited up.

The veteran retired a couple of years ago after taking the Tampa Bay Lightning to the Eastern Conference Finals in 2012. We officially don't have a rooting interest (because objectivity is important!) but it would be kind of cool if Colorado scored like seven goals and Roloson got to play.
