Blackhawks player curses audibly after another Jets save

Chicago can’t figure out goalies anymore and they’ve had it.

In the middle of a rough stretch of performances, the Chicago Blackhawks probably thought they were catching a break on Sunday. They were wrong.

After failing to figure out Toronto goaltender James Reimer the previous night, the Blackhawks traveled home to play a Winnipeg Jets team fresh off a shutout win against Henrik Lundqvist and the Rangers. Considering the Jets were going to rest red-hot goalie Ondrej Pavelec, Chicago was bound to open the scoring floodgates.

Instead, the Blackhawks got stuck in goalie deja vu as Jets goalie Michael Hutchinson turned away shot after shot after shot. It got so bad that one Blackhawk audibly voiced his frustration midway through the second period.

The desperation in that f-bomb is almost sad. Winnipeg leads 1-0 after two periods and we’re concerned about Chicago’s psyche if they don’t score in the third.
