The gameplan against Thomas is pretty simple.

Columbus figured out pretty quickly that if you carry the puck towards the net on the rush, Thomas will follow you like a dog following bacon in its owner’s hand.
Pretty neat save at first there, but that whole gaping net thing turned out to be a problem.
Minutes later, Ryan Johansen scored when Boone Jenner drew Thomas way out of his crease again.
Just stay in your net, Tim. It’ll work out better for you.
