How will the Dallas Stars perform against the St. Louis Blues?
The Stars went through a traumatic experience Monday night, watching forward Rich Peverley collapse on the bench during the first period against the Columbus Blue Jackets. Perverley has been dealing with heart related issues for some time and experienced a cardiac event during the game.
The two teams decided to postpone Monday night's game because none of the players wanted to continue. Dallas will return to action Tuesday against St. Louis, but will be without Peverley and Alex Chiasson, who had to be hospitalized after witnessing the incident.
Will the Blues remain unbeaten with Ryan Miller?
Ryan Miller has appeared in four games with the Blues since being traded by the Buffalo Sabres. The Blues have won all four games. The club will face the Stars on Tuesday, and are boasting a five-game winning streak. Will the wins keep coming?
Who will be in control of second place in the Metro Division by night’s end?

A slew of Metro Division action is on tap for Tuesday, with seven of the eight teams in play. With the exception of the Columbus Blue Jackets, the other Metro teams will be facing division opponents. The New York Rangers -- currently in second place -- will be in action against the Carolina Hurricanes, while the Philadelphia Flyers -- currently in third place -- will be hosting the New Jersey Devils.
New York and Philly are separated by a single point, so a number of outcomes could result in a change of position.
Will Detroit be in control of a wild card spot?
While Columbus might not be playing a division opponent, Tuesday's game will have playoff implications. The Blue Jackets will face the Detroit Red Wings, who sit on the outside of the playoff picture but can gain control of the final wild card spot with a victory against Columbus, the club that currently owns the final playoff spot in the East.
Tuesday marks the final regular season meeting between these two teams and closes out a home-and-home series that began Monday. Pittsburgh ended up winning that contest, 3-2, which gives Washington the opportunity to seek some revenge.
