NCAA hockey bracket 2014: Minnesota the No. 1 overall seed
The 16 teams that will battle for the 2014 NCAA hockey championship are set. Minnesota is the No. 1 overall seed.

Here’s the West region, which will do battle at Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul, Minn, home of the Gophers.
Here’s the Northeast region, which will do battle in Worcester, Mass. Boston College is the No. 1 seed here, and we could see an all-Hockey East regional final with HEA champ UMass-Lowell in this region as well.
Here’s the East region, playing in Bridgeport, Conn. Last year’s national runner-up, Quinnipiac, will play in its home state, and we could see a rematch of last year’s regional final if both the Bobcats and No. 3 overall seed Union are able to win their first-round games.
Finally, here’s the Midwest region in Cincinnati, Ohio. Wisconsin is the No. 1 seed in this region, and the No. 4 seed overall in the tournament.
The 2014 Frozen Four will be held at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia on April 10 and April 12. For full tournament coverage, be sure to stick with SB Nation College Hockey.
